Sailor Uranus Cross Stitch by JealaTriumph Sailor Uranus Cross Stitch by JealaTriumph
After several months, I've finished my Sailor Uranus Cross Stitch Bag for one of my closest friends! I meant to have it done for her in August, but I've only just completed it this past December.

Yeaaah, the border got cut off. But the gift was given, and I can't take a picture of it now.

This is the finished project! The handles are tucked inside the bag itself.

The sprite was created by :iconhonest-beauty:. Check out her page here: [link]

I don't own the character or Sailor Moon. All credits to Naoko Takeuchi!

Cross stitchers (is that a word?) always impress me! :faint: It would take me a century before I'm good enough to achieve something like that! Great job!

Aw, thank you for your comment! Your words are very much appreciated. ^^ I'm not sure if 'cross stitchers' is the right word, but I would probably use it myself, to be honest. XD If you ever get the chance to even try something small, you should. Once you get started, it gets easier. Although, I am biased, and try to get people to start cross stitching. XD But really - start small! Then go from there. You know. . . if you'd want to try it.

Thank you again!

You're welcome! :aww: I might give it a try someday :) I tried knitting in the past and it was a total failure, so I've never been too confident since about trying something that involves wool/thread/whatever is similar XD but maybe someday!

The top secret project, codenamed 'The Hippo Bag'. :D Nice! I am glad you finally finished it. It does look really nice. I noticed also that the white spots in the background kinda look like stars. I think that is fitting to. And I haven't watched the anime or anything... other than that creepy circus thing that 'our friend' posted the other day. But this is really awesome and such a thoughtful gift. The time and thought is worth FAR more than any monetary value.

And you never said what you wanted me to right for that 'Pay It Forward' thing. Should I write a 'legend' about the 'Empress of Eregion' or something else? I gave my word and am thus bound by it. I am like Genie from Aladdin, "You neer had a friend like me." :D So your wish is my command... at least for that thing. ;)

That looks great! I actually saw those patterns myself a few months back but I'm a bit wary to do one of them myself. I may, I may not. Haha~

Well, I hope your friend really liked it. ^^

Thanks so much! :D They're a bit tedious, because for a small as they are, they have quite a bit of colour.

She did! She thought the sword at the end was the best.

That's great. The effort was worth it in the end then. ^3^

Most definitely! Making things for yourself and finishing them is quite exciting, but making them for another is totally different! Now I wanna just make lots of things, lol!

Hahah, yeah I know. It's a lot more satisfying when I make a stitch for one of my friends, than it is for myself. For me, I just make it and put it away. But they actually admire it. Probably explains why I've stopped choosing patterns for myself. :D
