I'll Come Running Cross Stitch

I wanted to make something special for the Josh Groban concert I am going to this weekend in Green Bay, WI. I wanted to make it for Josh, in case I won the Meet and Greet. I don't think I did, so I'll be keeping it. XD

This was the second pattern I made completely by hand, and I was extremely happy with it. I hated all the backstitching, but hey. I chose to do it. It was done on 18-count Aida, and so some of it is a bit crunched. I'm not too happy with that, but any bigger, and this thing would be HUGE. Most of it is done with 310 DMC. The solid square of the border is done with some sort of blue (it might be hard to tell).

I apologize that this is so scrunched. Taking a pic or scanning was so hard because of its size. I think it's about 14" by 14".

The song and lyrics are both by Nick Cave. Josh Groban did a cover, and it is moving. It brings me to tears. You can find it on Josh's newest CD, 'Illuminations', and this song is by far my favourite off of it.
